VPS has worked with numerous clients across the manufacturing, automotive, banking, energy and military domains to create deployable artificial intelligence (AI) solutions that increase productivity, proficiency and speed to learner while decreasing cycle costs and time.

We’ve learned that the best answer when it comes to AI is the one that works within the clients culture and constraints to achieve the stated objectives. AI is smart, but as learning professionals we need to be just as intelligent when it comes to making decisions using our scarce resources and budgets.

From chatbots and robotic process automation to deployment of large language models (LLMs) and use of commercially available tools, we work with a number of different aspects of AI in real deployments and are excited to share our use cases, considerations and outcomes.

During this talk, your hosts from VPS Learning, Steve Thompson, director of business development, and Priyesh Mistry, head of shared services, will take you through some of the business challenges and use cases VPS has encountered, highlighting the criteria for decision-making and outcomes.

In this session, attendees will learn:

  • The Science of Design, a still powerful foundation for considering potential AI solutions. These tools are to solve business challenges and are not drivers.
  • How to select the right tool, platform or solution and the factors to consider when doing so, (e.g., stakeholder concerns, security and lifecycle management).
