From Avoidance to Clarity: Training Leaders to Address Team Conflict With Confidence
Unhealthy conflict can prevent needed change — and make life miserable. Training leaders to understand the difference between healthy conflict (a question of what is right) and unhealthy conflict (a question of who is right) is essential to a healthy culture. People are complex, but this is a skill that can be taught and mastered and lead to lasting organizational change.
In this session, Niche Academy cofounder Jared Oates will use examples and stories to share the habits of good conflict management including active listening, guiding conversations and knowing when to work with human resources. He’ll also share best practices for training leaders to adopt these practices.
Attendees will leave this session with:
- Tools for understanding conflict in the workplace
- Better ways to explain the value of conflict management training
- What works and what doesn’t in conflict management training
