Organizational change must come via its people: It succeeds only when they can and want to bring it about. This means that learning and development (L&D) strategy is essential. It needs to build learning experiences that connect to people’s concerns and aspirations and provide a pathway from there to doing things better. If people see the value of change — and an obtainable path to improvement — they will follow it.

Dr. John Cleave, Director of Systemic Solutions at SweetRush, will show real-world examples of learning experiences focusing on the learners that led to organizational change, and from these distill eight guiding principles that are critical to success, called the Transformational Design Standards.

This interactive session will offer actionable insights on the following:

  • Multiple examples of learning design leading to organizational improvement, with key elements highlighted
  • The importance of learner growth mindset in L&D strategy formulation
  • Eight Transformational Design Standards that inform L&D strategy
