Augmented Reality (AR)

Augmented reality (AR) is a subset of extended reality (XR). AR refers to a three-dimensional virtual environment that enhances reality by overlaying it with digital information using lenses or phone cameras, enabling learners to, for example, see instructions while working on a machine. AR is often leveraged in training to reduce the risk and cost associated with training in certain environments and equipment, such as in medical and/or compliance training.
