Training Industry, Inc. Courses terms and conditions vary by course type. By registering for and/or attending the Training Industry Courses you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. Please review the text below and ensure you understand these terms before submitting your order.

FOR RESEARCH REPORTS

No refunds are permitted after the point of order. Training Industry will, to the best of its ability, ensure customers are able to successfully retrieve research reports once an order has been successfully placed.

FOR LEARNING PACKAGES

Each course within learning packages and learning journeys must be completed within one year of purchase date. Refunds and transfer fees for each course within learning packages and learning journeys will be subject to the policies detailed below by course type.

FOR THE CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL IN TRAINING MANAGEMENT (CPTM) PROGRAM, THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS APPLY

Substitutions and Cancellation Policy: If a change needs to be made to your program application (cancellation, transfer or substitution), Training Industry must receive written notice via email at cptm@trainingindustry.com. A substitution or transfer made less than 30 days prior to the practicum start date will result in a $400 change fee. Tuition will be valid toward another practicum for a period of one year. Only one re-enrollment opportunity is allowed. Failure to attend the practicum without written notice will result in the forfeiture of the full course price. You may reschedule your session no more than two times without penalty any time prior to 30 days before your session date. A change fee will apply for all subsequent change requests.

Cancellation made no more than five days after registration and prior to accessing the e-learning portion of the program will result in a full refund, minus a $100 administrative fee. Once the e-learning portion of the program has been accessed by the student, no refund will be granted, and no transfer of the registration will be permitted. The exam must be taken within six months of the close of the practicum; after this period, there is a $250 administrative fee to access the exam. If Training Industry is forced to cancel a course for any reason, liability is limited to the application fee only. In the event of inclement weather, Training Industry will hold the practicum if the instructor is present; in this case, no refunds will be issued. However, a credit valid for one year will be issued should you not be able to attend the practicum.

By placing an order for CPTM registration, you are reserving a space in a scheduled practicum, and you acknowledge that you have reviewed and understand the dates, times, and location/modality to be used for the practicum of your choice. Dates and locations of practicums may be found at cptm.trainingindustry.com.

CPTM registration fees must be paid in advance of the program. Your tuition fee includes course materials, including your textbook and handouts, access to a practicum, and a maximum of two attempts at successfully completing the certification exam.

FOR CERTIFICATE COURSES

Refunds must be requested in writing to learning@trainingindustry.com at least 30 days before the start date of the course and prior to accessing the course materials of the program will result in a full refund, minus a $100 administrative fee. A transfer made fewer than 30 days prior to the course start date will result in a $200 change fee, and tuition will be valid toward another certificate course for a period of one year. A cancelation made fewer than 30 days prior to the start of the course will result in a refund of the enrollment payment minus a $200 cancelation fee. Substitution of your registration to another participant may also be done at any time prior to the start of the class. You may reschedule your session no more than two times without penalty any time prior to 30 days before your session date. A change fee will apply for all subsequent change requests.

FOR WORKSHOPS

Refunds must be requested in writing to learning@trainingindustry.com at least 30 days before the start date of the course and prior to accessing the course materials of the program will result in a full refund, minus a $75 administrative fee. A transfer made fewer than 30 days prior to the class start date will result in a $75 change fee, and tuition will be valid toward another workshop for a period of one year. A cancelation made fewer than 30 days prior to the start of the course will result in a refund of the enrollment payment minus a $100 cancelation fee. Substitution of your registration to another participant may also be done at any time prior to the start of the class. You may reschedule your session no more than two times without penalty any time prior to 30 days before your session date. A change fee will apply for all subsequent change requests.

FOR AGILE CERTIFICATION FOR HR AND L&D

Refunds must be requested in writing to learning@trainingindustry.com at least 30 days before the start date of the course and prior to accessing the course materials of the program will result in a full refund, minus a $100 administrative fee. A transfer made fewer than 30 days prior to the class start date will result in a $250 change fee, and tuition will be valid toward another course for a period of one year. A cancelation made fewer than 30 days prior to the start of the course will result in a refund of the enrollment payment minus a $250 cancelation fee. Substitution of your registration to another participant may also be done at any time prior to the start of the course. You may reschedule your session no more than two times without penalty any time prior to 30 days before your session date. A change fee will apply for all subsequent change requests.

DATA PROTECTION:

By submitting registration details, you’ll receive news, research and resources for the corporate learning and development leader from Training Industry.

Photographs and Publicity Material: Training Industry Inc. reserves the right to use any photographs, recordings, electronic images or publicity material obtained by Training Industry, Inc. during the course. Training Industry, Inc. has the exclusive right to include photographic, video and other visual portrayals of course participants in any pictorial medium of any nature whatsoever for the purpose of trade, advertising, sales, publicity and otherwise.

FORCE MAJEURE:

Should a Training Industry course be canceled; every attempt will be made to reschedule the course and your registration payment will be applied towards another course session.

By accessing and using the Training Industry, Inc. learning management system, you indicate your acknowledgement and acceptance of these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions, you are not authorized to continue use of Training Industry, Inc. site(s) or resources. All the products, services, information, materials, data, images, graphics, sounds and other components on the Training Industry, Inc. Site (the “Contents”) are copyrighted and owned or controlled by Training Industry, Inc. unless otherwise noted. Any unauthorized use of the Contents on the Training Industry, Inc. site may violate copyright, trademark, and other laws and intellectual property rights of Training Industry, Inc. or third parties. Contents from the Training Industry, Inc. Site may not be modified, copied or distributed, republished, uploaded, posted, decompiled, or transmitted in any way, without the prior written consent of Training Industry, Inc., except that you may download one copy of the Contents on one computer for your personal, non-commercial home or archival use only, provided you do not delete or change any copyright, trademark or other proprietary notices contained therein. The Contents contained within Training Industry, Inc.’s learning management system are provided for lawful purposes only. No solicitation is permitted.

Course participants are expected to behave responsibly and to treat each other – and treat the community – with respect, kindness and compassion. Training Industry, Inc. reserves the right, without refund, to revoke the credentials of participants whose conduct is deemed inappropriate, disorderly or offensive by Training Industry, Inc. affiliated third parties or the local authorities.
